This was our second stay this year. Clean and comfortable. Fantastic staff too. They went above and beyond to provide me with ice and more for when I returned with an injury from skiing. Very accommodating. Wish I could give more stars. Will return. Thank you!

Great mountain motel
Very nicely remodeled motel for our trip to Sierra-at-Tahoe. Comfy bed, clean modern bathroom, fridge and microwave, super friendly staff, good shop next door that's coffee by day, bar at night. The grounds by the river look beautiful with firepits and chairs, would be great to come back in the summer I think.

Great find
This place had everything we needed!  It was great to have a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker in the room.  Very clean, comfy, and warm.  Free home-made snacks on arrival and in the morning was a nice touch:)

Our Rooms at the Inn

Our rooms have either two beds (queen and full) or a king; all with modern amenities including AC, TV with DirecTV, mini-fridges, and microwaves. Rooms are being updated, so reserve a “fully renovated room” if you prefer a room with all new finishes. All rooms are pet friendly (pet fee applies).

Our family and pet-friendly rooms are casually appointed for adventures and road-trippers to rest and relax. Or head out back to enjoy a picnic or firepit by the river.

The Sierra Inn is under new management and we are working to update the property. You should see exciting changes and offerings with each visit.

How to Find Us


Policies

  • Check in time: 3:00PM. Early check in may be available depending on your date of stay.
  • Check out time: 11:00 AM. Late check out may be available depending on your date of stay.
  • Deposit Policy: Full amount of reservation due at time of arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy: 24 hours prior to arrival to receive a full refund.
  • Pet Policy: A Pet fee will be charged per pet, per stay. Additional cleaning or damage charges may apply. All pets must be attended to at all times.
  • All rates are subject to state and local taxes.
  • Damage or Theft Policy: We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage or theft, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s premises or property. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
  • We are a natural environment property. Please use caution on rocks, near or in the river, and throughout the property.
